    Stan Lee Cole

    Musician from Antwerp, Belgium (born 1976 or 1977). In may 2013 his debut album "Devil’s Ringtone" was warmly welcomed by press and public. As the piano player for the tv show Scheire En De Schepping, Cole recorded his debut album with moog, bass, voice & human beatbox and released it as a free download on the website of tv station VIER. The result was that 10.000 people downloaded it (= virtual gold record). With "Separated" (recorded with his daughter Mira) Stan lee Cole won the first prize in the prestigious International Songwriting Competition (ISC) ; the jury consisted of Tom Waits, Nas, Suzanne Vega, Black Francis & John Mayall who selected the song amidst 20.000 submissions. As a result, the song got major airplay on Belgian radio stations. More success followed when the video won a whole series of international prizes, won third place on Leuven Kort, and was nominated for a MIA award in Flanders (Belgium). In 2014 a second album followed: "That's Why We Weep", produced by Jo Bogaert of Technotronic fame.
