Ganapathi Sachchidananda (born 26 May 1942 in Mekedatu in the state of Karnataka, India) is a Hindu avadhuta, a type of mystic or saint who is seen to be beyond egoic-consciousness. He is renowned for his healing and meditation music and is considered a guide who promotes ancient Vedic rituals and traditions. In particular, he teaches bhakti - the devotional chanting of the names of God (japa) as well as traditional and self-composed bhajans. Ganapati Sachchidananda gives seminars and also concerts worldwide.
