Sphäre Sechs

Sphäre Sechs is an ambient project from Martin Stürtzer (Phelios) and Christian Stritzel. Their music is recorded in improvised live or studio sessions. They are playing together since 2001 and released their first album “Tiefschlaf” (german for “deep sleep”) with recordings from a sleeping concert that took place in a church in Wuppertal. The following album “Enceladus” explored Jupiter´s ice-moon. Christian solely uses the Theremin as a sound source and works with an array of analog and digital effect units to create living and breathing soundscapes.
