    Sore Throat was a grindcore / crust punk band out of Huddersfield and Birmingham, England, formed in 1987. They are known for being one of the earliest exponents of the grindcore subgenre known as "noisecore" (or "noisegrind"). The band was revived as a power electronics / harsh noise project by member Brian Talbot sometime in the early 2000's. The band has since gone back to playing crust / grindcore.
