American jazz trumpeter, trombonist and bandleader. Born November 16, 1914 in Brockton, Massachusetts, USA. Died July 1, 1990 in Miami, Florida, USA. Dunham played with Ben Bernie (first professional job), Casa Loma Orchestra, with own orchestra (Sonny Dunham & His Orchestra, 1940s), with Tommy Dorsey (early 1950s) and others. Dunham's theme song was "Memories of You", a track he had made his own as a soloist with the Casa Loma Orchestra in 1937.
