Dunham played with Ben Bernie (first professional job), Casa Loma Orchestra, with own orchestra (Sonny Dunham & His Orchestra, 1940s), with Tommy Dorsey (early 1950s) and others. Dunham's theme song was "Memories of You", a track he had made his own as a soloist with the Casa Loma Orchestra in 1937.
