Sonamoo (Korean: 소나무, which translates as Pine Tree) is a seven-member South Korean K-pop girl group under TS Entertainment.
On December 29, 2014, Sonamoo made their official debut with the single "Deja Vu". Members are: Su Min, Min Jae, D.ana, Na Hyun, Eui Jin, High.D, New Sun.
In the beginning of 2018, Sonamoo entered a long hiatus while Eui Jin joined the TV Show "The Unit", then the temporary band UNI.T.
After the end of UNI.T, Eui Jin came back in Sonamoo, but TS Entertainment stuck the band with no reason during more than a year. Sumin and Nahyun left the band in 2019. TS Entertainment has sued them, but has lost the trial.
End of 2019, a 4 members version of Sonamoo has released, in a very different style, a digital single, "We Are Legendary", as a soundtrack for "Legendary : Game Of Heroes" video game, which failed to gain attention. According to Min Jae, none of the girls wanted to do this promotional song, and "I (Knew It)" should be regarded as the last Sonamoo song.
In september 2021, New Sun, Minjae & D.ana have announced they're leaving Sonamoo and TS Entertainment. This means the very end of Sonamoo.
