Soft Pillow Kisses first formed in 1999 as Candyaudioline. Two members of the band quit to pursue their studies but eventually rejoined. Their return to the band ushered in not only a new name but a new style. They recorded a five-song cassette ep titled "As You Whisper In My Ear" which was only sold while on a small summer gig with Sonnet 58 and Soda Jerk in Cebu in the middle of 2000. They recorded two tracks (It Will Never Last Last (Forever) and This Gentle Feeling) in 2001 for compilation album Mutual Admiration Society. The song "It Will Never Last (Forever)" received positive reviews both locally in the Philippines and in other parts the globe. The band is currently busy playing gigs locally. There has been talk of a new album to be released possibly on Shelflife Records but nothing has been formally announced.
