American band from Detroit which was originally formed by Kathy Leisen and Matt Kantor in New York City. Upon Kathy's travels back to Detroit she met drummer Chris Morris. Together they recorded an album's worth of 4-track demos titled Spring And Summer, to be self released. Kathy then met Ben Good who's synth artistry helped fill out the ever growing Soft Location sound. A handful of shows and house parties were played and the band was gearing up to release a proper full length album. Kathy enticed original bass player, Matt Kantor, to return to Detroit and join the band.
