Sofia Pettersson

Swedish jazz singer, composer, songwriter and singing teacher, born December 30, 1970 in Kristinehamn. She studied at the Academy of Music in Malmö and made her recording debut with the album Oasis in 1998. She has been inspired by Stevie Wonder and Donny Hathaway and by singers in the American folk tradition such as Paul Simon and Joni Mitchell.
