SNFU was a hardcore punk band from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada formed in 1981. Later relocated to Vancouver in 1992. In keeping with the humorous critique of life and society in their songs, the band's acronym had many interpretations, such as "Society's No Fucking Use", "Snot Nosed Fuck Ups", "Sit Not For Us", et cetera. Also all of their albums' titles intentionally had exactly seven words in a clever phrase. Lead singer Mr Chi Pig was renowned for his onstage acrobatics.
