SMIB

SMIB is a platform from Amsterdam Southeast which was founded in 2014 by founders GRGY, Ray Fuego and KC who started to release their own music. After this, members Tads Thots, Fosa YG, Loopey and Mug, among others, joined the platform, and since then all artists have been releasing their music from SMIB. After playing at the biggest hip-hop festivals, including Woo Hah and Appelsap national, and SPLASH! in Germany, SMIB organized their first festival on the beach of Ijburg in the late summer of 2016, after various events of its own. On December 5, 2016 they released their first joint EP called “BAKUHATSU”. This project was well received by critics, and eventually led to a performance during the Noorderslag edition of 2017, where they were voted the best act by the media landscape. Their performances are often compared to a punk/rock show, with Ray Fuego as a torchbearer within the whole making the biggest contribution to the energy level with his allure.
