Sister was an American heavy metal band, formed in 1976 in Los Angeles. The band stayed together for approximately two years and never achieved any measure of success. After the group broke up in 1978, ex-members: guitarist Lizzie Grey (aka Stephen Perry), bassist Nikki Sixx, and drummer Dane Rage formed the heavy metal band London; guitarists Blackie Lawless (aka Steven Duren) and Randy Piper went on to form Circus Circus.
Nikki Sixx went on to play in Mötley Crüe. After the demise of Circus Circus, Lawless and Piper formed W.A.S.P.
