In early January of 2014, Longtime friends Skyler Stonestreet and Kat Ostenberg united to form sirenXX. The LA based duo pair dreamy vocals with heavier beats and spontaneous melodies, creating a sound that launched them to #1 on the hypemachine charts in both April and August of that same year.
