Sidsel Storm is a jazz singer, songwriter and producer from Denmark born on 20th November 1982.


In 2002, Sidsel makes her first movements into the world of jazz by attending Den Rytmiske Højskole in Vig. In 2003, she began studying vocal music at Musikalsk Grundkursus in Copenhagen. She attended the jazz meet Brandbjerg Jazzstævne 2003-2004, where she sang, met great musicians, made new friends and immersed herself in jazz.

Sidsel joined the electropop band undefined about 2004/2005, and at the same time started her jazz band Sidsel Storm Quintet that performed at jazz festivals in Denmark. The band changed its name to Sidsel Storm Quartet about 2011 and has become popular in Europe, North America and Asia.

Won the prize for young jazz composer of the year from undefined in 2008. The debut album Sidsel Storm won the prize for Danish vocal jazz release of the year in 2009 at the annual Danish Music Awards Jazz.
