    Israeli-born Sharon Farber is a classically trained musician with extensive knowledge in both classical and western music. A 1997 graduate of the Berklee College of Music in Boston, Farber majored in both film scoring and classical composition. She moved to Los Angeles after graduation and began her professional career in the film and television industry. Farber has worked with NBC in the EMMY Award Winning TV series “Starting Over,” “As The World Turns” and “Passions;” with Showtime on “In a Class Of His Own,” starring Lou Diamond Phillips and “Call Me Sir” starring Michael Clarke Duncan. Additionally, she has worked on feature films and other projects with Warner Brothers and CBS. Farber won the Telly Award for best score for the docudrama series "California 2000." Her orchestral score for “When Nietzsche Wept”, starring Aramand Assante and Ben cross (Millennium Films), was released commercially. Farber has been writing concert and chorale music in conjunction with her film-scoring career, and has numerous national and international premieres and performances to her credit.
