Shane Bartell

Musician in Austin, Texas. Raised in Kerville, Bartell moved to Austin in 1992 to attend university and there jouned the dream pop band Cling. After Cling split in 1998, Bartell moved to Portland for a year then returned to Austin and began a solo career as a singer/songwriter with folk, pop and shoegaze influences. His backing band included bassist Marcus Rice, keyboardist Derek Morris, and drummer Stephen Bres.
