    Shadow King

Shadow King was an AOR oriented supergroup formed by ex-Foreigner vocalist Lou Gramm after meeting former Sweet Savage, Dio, and Riverdogs guitarist Vivian Campbell, and rounded out by Gramm's longtime writing partner Bruce Turgon on bass and ex-Breathless, Donnie Iris And The Cruisers, Harlow, and The Godz drummer Kevin Valentine. Amazingly, Shadow King only ever played a solitary show, performing at the Astoria Theatre in London as part of the short-lived 'American Dream' series promoted by the now defunct Shades Record store. In the wake of Vivian Campbell joining Def Leppard, Lou Gramm settled his differences with Mick Jones and rejoined Foreigner, taking Bruce Turgon with him. Kevin Valentine briefly worked with Cinderella prior to their 'Still Climbing' album, but returned to Los Angeles where he played with and produced a number of local bands (such as Snake Rock) before re-emerging in 1997 in a reformation of Donnie Iris And The Cruisers. Vivian Campbell released his debut solo album, 'Two Sides Of If', in September 2005. That same year Bruce Turgon readied his solo debut, 'Outside Looking In', through the Italian Frontiers label.
