Cuban son band founded by [a=Ignacio Piñeiro] in 1927. Also known as "Sexteto Nacional Ignacio Piñeiro". Previously known as [a2932438] (founded in 1926 by [a1108737]). Their name was changed to [a=Septeto Nacional] in 1928 after a trumpet player was added to the lineup. They reduced their activity in the 1930s and stoped activity in early 1940s. They only came back in the 1950s, as [a=Septeto Nacional de Ignacio Piñeiro].
