Self Conviction was a Vegan Straight Edge band from Sao Paulo (Brazil) formed in 1995 from the ashes of Positive Minds (first brazilian straight edge band) and with ex- members from Personal Choice and Clear Heads and people who also played at Point Of No Return, Landscape and Reborn. They played heavy hardcore with a rap feel and with lyrics concerning mostly Veganism/Animal Liberation issues.
