Selbstmord

Polish Black Metal band located in Świdnica, Dolnośląskie. Founded in 1998. The band's name is derived from a German word for suicide.

Despite the name, the band is often considered as part of the NSBM scene for having lyrical themes about death, war, hatred, anti-Judeo-Christianity, violence, suicide and occasional racial overtones.
Selbstmord have contributed live appearences on Asgardsrei festival. Most of the time, this band share the same lineup as Ohtar. Their musical style is recently described, branded as "Extremist Black Metal".
