Schola Cantorum Basiliensis

The Schola Cantorum Basiliensis was founded in Basel, Switzerland, in 1933 by Paul Sacher as a private institute for old music and was strongly influenced by the work of August Wenzinger and Ina Lohr. 1954 it was integrated into the Musik-Akademie der Stadt Basel (Musik-Akademie Basel), and 1999 it became the Hochschule für Alte Musik.
