Satoshi Tomiie

About

Satoshi Tomiie is a Japanese DJ and producer based in New York. He had early success in 1989 with "Tears," a co-production with Frankie Knuckles. In the early 1990's, he toured with Ryuichi Sakamoto, and has become known for remixes of artists including U2, Mariah Carey, Photek, Simply Red, and David Bowie.


At the turn of the millennium, Satoshi introduced a new club sound via 1999’s "Full Lick," album that helped define a developing house scene. The single "Love In Traffic," became a worldwide underground hit.

In 2015 he launched new label Abstract Architecture and released his 2nd album "New Day"
