Ryland Teifi is an actor, singer and composer of Welsh (born December 12, 1972 ). He is well-known for the role-play of Peter Marshall in the Cardiff television series and as Douglas Green in the Pen Talar television series. In 2009 and 2010 he was nominated by BAFTA Cymru in the Best Actor category. He moved to Ireland in 2011 and concentrated on his musical career with his Mendocino band. Originally from the Folostrasol village, where his parents used to run the village shop. Teifi himself is a former pupil of Dyffryn Teifi Comprehensive School in Llandysul .
