Rustic Hinge were a split-off group from the second version of The Crazy World Of Arthur Brown, and also related to High Tide. They existed for an unspecified period, jamming in Puddletown (sometimes credited as The Puddletown Express with guest appearances by Arthur Brown) and playing a few gigs in the South West of England. The LP which documens their existence contains recordings from 1970 which remained unreleased until 1988. It documents them as a band with Captain Beefheart Magic Band like rhythmic structures, blending folk and psychedelic elements in a largely instrumental blend.
