Runrig were a Scottish Celtic rock group formed in Skye in 1973. Since its inception the band's line-up has included songwriters Rory Macdonald and Calum Macdonald. The latest line-up also included longtime members Malcolm Jones, Iain Bayne, and more recently, Bruce Guthro, and Brian Hurren. To date the band have released fourteen studio albums, with a number of their songs sung in Scottish Gaelic. Additionally the band have released a series of albums containing live recording and songs from the archive like demos etc. as fanclub exclusives under the title Access All Areas. Runrig ended their 45 year long career after the Final Mile Farewell Tour 2018 and The Last Dance Farewell Concerts on 17th & 18th of August 2018 in Stirling, Scotland.
