Symphony Orchestra founded in 1950 as the "Rundfunkorchester Hannover des NWDR", affiliated with the [a1274734]. It was renamed in 1955 to "Rundfunkorchester Hannover", later it was called the [a895986], until in 2003 the official name was changed to [a7678442].
