Italian folk band, Massimo Mollo and Marzia Del Giudice created the Rua Port'Alba group in 1990 to play popular music, especially that of the Southern Italian tradition. In their research they identified a lot of music and other objects (words, stories, ideas) which, traveling over the centuries on the roads of Eurasia and on the waters of the Mediterranean, have spread to Europe, the Middle East and North Africa. In addition to being affiliated with the National Antiracist Network
