Roy Acuff

Born: September 15, 1903, Maynardville, Tennessee Died: November 23, 1992, Nashville, Tennessee American country singer, fiddler, band leader, songwriter and record company executive. He became the first living musician inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 1962.
