Swiss-born American drummer and producer, born 7 November 1955 in Thurgau, Switzerland, died 15 September 2024 in Wrocław, Poland where he lived since 2021.
He moved to New York (NY, USA) in the early 1980s. His first mark in his career was joining the no wave band Swans in May 1983. Later he collaborated with J.G. Thirlwell as Wiseblood. As record producer he is best known for his work with The Young Gods, The The, New Order and Hair & Skin Trading Company.
