Robert Farnon

Born on 24 July 1917 in Toronto, Ontario - Died on 23 April 2005 in Guernsey. Composer and arranger of film scores and 'Light Music'. Mastered jazz trumpeter, he served as a captain in the Canadian Army , during World War II; he conducted the Canadian Band of the Supreme Headquarters Allied Expeditionary Force (SHAEF).
