Robbie Nelson hails from the East Antrim town of Larne. With residencies at Circus Circus, Banbridge, Kelly's, Portrush and Charlie Heggartys, Bangor, Robbie Nelson aka Robbie V was instrumental in the development and prominent in the evolution of the Northern Irish club scene and electronic music industry. After setting up Nice & Nasty records with Desy Balmer in 1993 he moved on to record for Alex Gold's Xtravaganza as Agnelli and Nelson and today records for several top European labels, under various guises (such as Cortez and previously as Ubiquity).
