Rob Waters (August 26, 1968 - July 27, 2018) was a musician from Jacksonville, Florida known mostly for being Limp Bizkit's first guitarist, from 1994 to 1995. He appeared on their early demo tapes during a time when they still spelled the band name "Limp Biscut". Members of Korn heard the early demo tapes and suggested to Fred Durst that Limp Bizkit change their guitarist; Rob was subsequently kicked out of the band. Prior to playing in Limb Bizkit, he played guitar in the thrash metal band Mad Axe, which was renamed Sakajaweeda in 1993 (with the addition of fellow guitarist Terry Balsamo, who wound up briefly playing in Limp Bizkit in 1996 when Wes Borland temporarily quit the band). After Limp Bizkit, Rob played bass in the metal band Shaft. He later on joined as bassist Snagglepuss from 2000 to 2002 and again from 2006 to 2007.
