Grime collective from Brixton. Consisting of several local rappers known by their nicknames including R.A. a.k.a. R Dot, Elmz St, Smiley, Den Den a.k.a Phantom, Alan Bizzle, Dan Diggerz, plus in-house producers Kizar Beats and DJ Gumbo. The group had a popular music video aired on Channel U in 2006. However, the video entitled ‘Can’t Come to the Roadside’ was later removed at the request of Operation Trident because they deemed it to be “gang-related”. The younger generation of Roadside G’s are known by the acronyms YRS and TRS (Younger Roadside and Tiny Roadside).
