Richie Kelly

Irish Accordion player born in Dublin. Studied under John Mitchell for 6 years in the Hohner College of Accordion in Dublin. Winner of All Ireland Accordion Championship on 4 occasions. Played for 1969 to 1972 with the Gallowglass Céilí Band and the joined Sean Dunphy's band. Set up a group called 'Cupla' in 1981 and recorded 3 albums.
