Richard Cowley was born in Ilford, London, UK on November 3, 1945. He started his career as a booker for the Malcolm A. Rose Agency, subsequently Richard ran '60s booking agency Universal Attractions, which merged with Ellis-Wright Agency in 1967. He assisted in founding the legendary Chrysalis Agency Ltd. Later founded Cowbell and World Service booking agencies, finally working as a healthcare consultant after leaving the music business. He was a professional Go-Kart rider in his heyday. Passed away in 2018, aged 72.
