Born 24th June 1937 in Foggia. Famous italian producer, author of music, radio & TV programs, showman, film actor and film director. He becames recognized as anchorman with Gianni Boncompagni in middle 60s thanks radio-shows "Bandiera Gialla" ('65), "Per Voi Giovani" ('67), "Alto Gradimento" ('70), His first great TV success was the surreal "L'altra Domenica" ('76–'79) where launched comedians as Isabella Rossellini and Roberto Benigni. Very successful TV show were also "Quelli della Notte" ('85) and "Indietro Tutta!"('88) where he played and sung. He sold hundreds of thousand copies. In 1991 founded "L'Orchestra Italiana", a band of 15 artists. Grand Officer of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic
