Formerly known as Putrefactive Harpoon of Buddha Pond, but changed name into Reek of the Unzen Gas Fumes in 2012 till present day.
Their musical style is very notable for the chaotic screaming vocals and excessive use of mechanical-sounding blast beats. Most of the lyrical themes convey messages of Imperialism, war, sadism, and blasphemous anti-Buddhist sentiments.
