Harlem, New York November 27, 1956 born DJ and Producer and recognized as one of the founding fathers of hip hop music and culture. After dropping out of Hampton University in 1977 and returning back to Harlem he became a full-time deejay for Afrika Bambaataa Zulu Nation. Rose to fame in 80s by his weekend radio show on 98.7 Kiss FM in New York City, Godfather of the "mixtape". Also known as "The Prop Master" and "Papa Red".

His weekly radio show airs on WBLS 107.5 FM Saturday evenings from 6pm-7pm EST.
