Raymond Legrand
French composer, arranger and band leader (born 1908 in Paris - died 1974 in Paris).
He has worked with Ray Ventura, Tino Rossi, Maurice Chevalier, has composed several movies soundtracks and has written books about hamonisation. he was also saxophonist.
Married to Marcelle Der Mikaelian in 1929. Later married to Colette Renard (1960-1969).
Father of Michel Legrand and Christiane Legrand.
