Swamp pop band from Louisiana, formed in 1957, and led by Randy David. Disbanded in 1972. During the band's existence, a total of thirty musicians played in the band. Eighteen of them reunited for one show in 1983. The original line-up was: Randy David (guitar), Dennis Norris (piano), Sonny Bourg (drums, 1957-1958), Allan Broussard (saxophone, 1957-195?) and Oran Richard (trumpet). Other band members included (1957-1972): Huey Darby (vocals, drums 1958-1960; 1963-1966), Dan Silas (saxophone, 195?- ), Butch Landry (bass, joined in 1960), Percy Bernard, Murphy Bufford, Sonny Mayard, Charles Schram, Leon Thibodeaux, Praverse Suire, Walter Bertrand, Alfred Boudoin, Ray Lebouef, Harry Simoneaux, Ronney Mayard, Billy Guidroz, Johnnie Norris, Bill Foreman, Glen Faulk, Lionel Schramm, Rod Simon, Steve Hebert, Ronnie Goodreau, Joel Belanger, Gil Lejeune, and Earl Parkette.
