British jazz pianist, arranger and composer. Born : December 20, 1930 in Ealing (London), England. Died : August 25, 1988 in London, England. Ralph worked with Kenny Graham (1951), Terry Brown (Sextet, 1952), Jimmy Walker (Quintet, 1952), Ted Heath (summer 1952 - early 1953), Eric Winstone (autumn 1953), Harry Bence, Vic Ash (in tour), Geraldo (spring 1954).worked as pianist for Petula Clark in variety shows around the UK(1959),and with the singer Matt Monro (1961), led own trio, again Ted Heath (mid-1960s), in 1970s & 1980s played as pianist in hotel in Monte Carlo after returned to Britain and formed own small group.
