    Algerian artist, founder of pioneer French Arabic rock band Carte De Séjour. His father is from Bejaia, in the Kabylie area of Algeria while his mother was from Mascara. Rachid grew up in the suburbs of Lyon, in France and invented a sort of Rock n' Raï music style.
