The year was 1987, April 30th, in Borås/Sweden. The boy was named Robbin Söderlund. When he was a kid he was a unruly man and only did things he thought was COOL. But a couple of years later he calmed and decided to start making music. In August 2005 when he was 18 years old he started to produce trance/dance music. He learned it very quickly and became famous in the name "Dj Raaban". Today Raa­ban has pro­duced tracks for a wide range of pur­poses in different styles. From inter­na­tional rec­og­nized brands for use in com­mer­cials to the Swedish Idol show. Raa­ban has also pro­duced for artists such as the Uni­ver­sal Music Japan signed singer Yuka Masaki as well as the Swedish house duo Stock­holm Syndrome. In 2015 he cre­ated the duo “Tungevaag & Raa­ban” with Martin Tungevaag from Norway. The duo has pro­duced “Vidorra” signed by Kon­tor Records and also the Scan­di­na­vian hit song “Sam­sara” which rapidly climbed the charts and became their debut. “Sam­sara” has to date achieved 4x plat­inum in Nor­way and dou­ble plat­inum in Swe­den and also claimed the nr.1 spot on Spo­tify in both Nor­way and Finland.
