Canadian band from Regina, Saskatchewan. First formed in December 1968 as The V.I.P.'s while the members were in high school, later renamed to Cambridge before settling on the name Queen City Kids.
They remained together as a bar band without a member change for 12 years before getting signed by CBS Records Canada Ltd., after which they released two albums before breaking up in 1983.
Queen City Kids were inducted into the Western Canada Music Hall of Fame in 2007.
