Princess Margaret, Countess of Snowdon, CI, GCVO, GCStJ (born August 21, 1930, Glamis Castle, Scotland, UK – died February 9, 2002, King Edward VII Hospital, London, UK), was the younger daughter of King George VI and Elizabeth Angela Marguerite Bowes-Lyon, and the only sibling of Queen Elizabeth II.
