Peter Kater

Born in Munich, Bavaria in West Germany 28 May, 1958, but moved with his family already by the age of four to New Jersey, USA. Early on, he studied classical piano. In 1977 he moved to Boulder, Colorado, where he stayed until 1990. Then, he moved to Virginia before settling in Los Angeles, California, where he would set up his own studio and start a record label, undefined.
Peter Kater has been a leading innovator of contemporary instrumental music for over three decades. He's performed for presidents and dignitaries and scored the music for over 100 TV & film productions, including some on and off Broadway dramatic plays.
