British drummer and musician. He was born 21 August 1957 in St Helens, England, UK, and was married to Susan Ballion a.k.a Siouxsie Sioux from 1991 to 2007. Together they formed The Creatures (1981-2004). In October 2021, Clarke launched the Curious Creatures podcast with Laurence Tolhurst of which the name is a pun referring to The Cure and The Creatures. The pair have also collaborated on an album released in 2023. Clarke has been involved in various other projects, most notably with Japanese percussionist Leonard Eto.
