English rock bassist and singer, co-founder of The Kinks. Born 31 December 1943 in Tavistock, Devon. Died 23 June 2010 from kidney failure.


Left The Kinks in 1969 during the Arthur Or The Decline And Fall Of The British Empire rehearsals and formed the country rock band Mapleoak before leaving the band and the music industry in 1970..At some time in the 1970's he moved to Denmark and did the artwork for a few Danish records before moving to Canada in 1980 to live as a cartoonist and painter.
