Best known as bass player with The Boomtown Rats, Briquette continues to play bass with Bob Geldof, and has worked with Tricky (Maxinquaye) in 1995, a Dutch singer named Bloem de Ligny and a French singer named Renaud in addition to producing Dublin band The Frames D.C.
