Pet Salad

Pet Salad were a grunge band from Akersberga, Sweden. They founded in 2007 and released two EPs and an album. They disbanded in 2008 after the singer, Stas Neilyk, left the band because he was kind of done with grunge music. The image of the singer and their sound reminded everyone of Nirvana so they were reproached as a cheap Nirvana-copy. They played a few live gigs. They also aired on „Nyfiken På“ on TV Nord, a swedish TV channel. They played their Single „Hollywoodland“ there and they did an interview that was never released. Their two greatest hits were „Hollywoodland“ and „Sunday Mourning Service“. Stas Neilyk contemplated a solo career (in folk and psycheledic genre) after Pet Salad, while the other band members cared about their families and lives. An unknown demo, „Chaos is a friend of mine“ surfaced in the 2010s. It can be heard ob Pet Salad‘s Myspace.
